Columbia Café Clean-Up Crew
We need your help to clean-up the Columbia Café on Sunday mornings! Lay Ministers needed to clean up the coffee and bagels after the Café closes. Most things are thrown away. The task only takes about 15 minutes and may be done during the 3rd hour, but is a very important ministry at Columbia—you know how we love our coffee and bagels! Ideally we would like a team of several people so that you do not need to serve every Sunday.

Thanksgiving Share Ministry
Join our Turkey Team and extend Columbia’s generosity to our local community. Volunteers are needed Friday November 17th from 7-9 p.m. in Stephenson Hall to pack bags filled with everything needed to celebrate Thanksgiving. The bags will be distributed to families on Saturday November 18th from 9 a.m.—12 p.m. Volunteers are also needed Saturday November 18th to greet our guests, manage the check-in table, distribute food and fellowship with members of our community. This is a great event for all members of the family!

Christmas Party for HOPE in Northern Virginia
Share the Joy of Jesus’ birth with women who have had crisis pregnancies. Your help is needed at the Third Annual Christmas Party for the women served by Hope in Northern Virginia, our local crisis pregnancy center. The party will be held on Tuesday December 12th in Stephenson Hall from 6-8 p.m. Volunteers are needed before the party to help sort donated items and needed the day of the party to decorate, serve refreshments, pass out gifts and of course...clean up!

Calling all Wednesday Night Servers....
We need you! Our Wednesday Evening Dinners have become a community event with lots of new people joining us for our evening activities. We are in dire need of servers to help greet our members and guest and serve them dinner. Serving shifts are from 5:10-6:00 p.m. and 6:00-6:50 p.m. Join us for this fun way to minister to our guests and extend to all who attend the "Columbia Warm Welcome!"

Special Education Assistant Teacher
The Sunday Morning Ignition Group is in need of an Assistant Teacher to work along side of a very experienced and richly gifted teacher who could equip and mentor you. This is a great opportunity to work with some wonderful people while teaching the Word of God. This class uses curricula that is easy to use and designed with class members needs and abilities mind. You will be richly blessed!

Columbia’s Food Pantry
We receive many requests to help families each week. Our pantry is currently lacking the following items: Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruit, Cereal, Spaghetti Sauce, Spaghetti Noodles, Canned Meat. Please remember those in need and bring food to the Blue Bins located at the Ministry Wall and around the church entrances. Saturday Servants are welcome to come to the Pantry at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday mornings to join the teams who help others in our community.

Join the Baptism Team
We are looking for Lay Ministers willing to assist people through their baptism process. The Lay Minister would need to arrive at service 20 minutes early to greet the baptism candidates, show them where to change, and assist them with their needs through their baptism. Please join us in this special and rewarding opportunity!
